context
The protocol is a very important document to many indigenous tribes. Is an instrument for the defense of rights to these people, and it's goal is to make clear what the brazilian state or other entities can or must do, to set clear the rules to abide. By doing that, it prevents, the dangerous disassemble of the indigenous land and survival.
visual elements
The Kayapó's culture has many different body paintings drawings, they also produce a lot of handicrafts products with the drawings. The patternings above were inspired by the original ones and are the visual elements used in this project.
result
The result is a colourful full of images publication, that, at the same time, is able to maintained the serious and important aspects of the content. The patterns were placed on top of the photos. You can read the full protocol clicking here.
